Hydraulic Servo Brake
Hydraulic servo brakes are characterised by a movable support bearing, typically located in the lower area of the brake. Through this arrangement, the frictional force of the leading brake shoe is transferred to the trailing brake shoe. This design enables high braking torques to be achieved with comparatively low actuating forces, making the brake especially suitable where large masses must be stopped in restricted installation space.
